Where do I even start? The Sawyer's Painting Crew was so great. From my initial meeting with David, to the work getting done with Chad and his crew, and their lovely office manager, Allyson, because she was so nice despite how many times I asked if I can change the color.
I just cannot say enough good things about our experience getting our house exterior painted. It is such a big expense and they were patient, communicative and so dang thorough.
I never questioned what work was getting done, where they were at, or how much work was left. Chad took care to inform us of all the details. Absolutely would recommend and did I mention they do interior painting?? By the way, we got three quotes and Sawyer’s was very reasonable.

If I were hiring a paint company here are some things I would hope they would provide:
-communication of what's happening when and what they need me to do vs. what they will do.
-keep the area clean and not leave trash and around or hurt plants or any property. I don't want to have the awkward conversation of saying hey you just killed my plant with your ladder.
-That it would be done in a reasonably quick amount of time and they would show up when they said they would.
-That they would be respectful and easy to talk to to answer my million questions and fix any errors I notice.
-That they would do a near perfect, thorough job! It's expensive and you want to feel like you didn't waste your money!
-Not take shortcuts to avoid the extra little things like taping something or removing something to paint behind it.
Well good job Sawyers, you were magnificent. Met all my criteria, and did a fantastic job. They were here on time at the same time each morning, they let me know if they would miss a day if it was raining or a holiday. They were so nice when I bugged them about details and the process and were very gracious when I changed my mind on a few things. We mostly had Garrett, Canyon, and David and I'm pleased as punch with the job they did. I feel like we're buddies now. Good job buddies, you rocked it!

I really don’t know where to begin, so perhaps I’ll start at the end—when Kari and I found ourselves saying goodbye to John, Thomas, Charles, and Nico as though we were saying goodbye to friends. We genuinely hated to see them go.
That may sound like an odd way to begin a review of a painting company. After all, I imagine most people reading this simply want to know: Can these people paint? Oh, yes. They can paint.
But I think knowing something about the character of the people you invite into your home—and how much of themselves they put into their craft—may tell you more about what you can expect from the finished project than a wheelbarrow full of superlatives ever could. And this crew was exceptional. Communication. Preparation. Protection of our home. Cleanliness. Expertise. Attention to detail. Follow-through. Final inspection and closure. They excelled at every level.
Here’s what may be even more telling: when I write a five-star review, there is frequently some small annoyance, hiccup, or less-than-admirable detail that I simply choose not to mention because the overall experience was so good that it doesn’t deserve the oxygen.
With Sawyer’s Painting, I cannot, for the life of me, think of one. And I have some basis for comparison. This is somewhere around the twelfth time I’ve hired a professional painting crew over the years. Most were good. Some were exceptional.
John, Thomas, Charles, and Nico topped them all. They weren’t merely workers who showed up to paint our house. They cared about our home, cared about the result, cared about us, and somehow managed to make what is ordinarily a disruptive and trying experience genuinely enjoyable. They are outstanding craftsmen—and even better human beings.
There is one other person whose contribution might not be visible in the finished walls but is woven throughout this review: Allyson. Her official title may be Office Assistant, but from our side of the desk, “miracle worker” seems considerably more accurate. From our very first interaction, she was extraordinarily responsive, efficient, caring, and determined to help us make this project happen. She didn’t treat us like another job on the calendar. She took our project to heart, and Kari and I are enormously grateful to her.
So, from our first conversation with Allyson, through the estimator, through every day with this remarkable crew, right down to our rather sad wave goodbye, having our home painted by Sawyer’s Painting was not merely a successful project.
It was a delight.
Would I recommend Sawyer’s Painting? Most enthusiastically. And almost as an afterthought—which perhaps says everything—they were also the most reasonably priced of the four companies from whom we received quotes.
Apparently, the best doesn’t always require paying the most.

Great project that was handled professionally from start to finish. Allyson’s (office) communications were prompt, clear, and accurate. David the Crew Leader conducted the onsite estimate, offered valuable insight to paint selections and options, and personally inspected the final result and directed a few last minute touch-ups.

Couldn’t be happier with Sawyers- had them do some interior painting in our home.
